There are many beautiful botanical gardens, garden clubs, and hundreds of florists within Arizona. Arizona also has some of the most wonderful cactus nurseries, desert plants and flower nurseries, and rare southwestern plants.

The Sonoran Desert in Arizona contains more than 400 edible plants and hundreds more with medicinal and utilitarian uses and is home to home to many birds including the Western Screech Owl, Gila Woodpecker, and Anna’s Hummingbird. In the spring the desert explodes with color, as the Mexican poppies, Penstemon, Desert Lupine and many other wildflowers, Saguaro and other cacti bloom.
